Hi. We've got Windows Messenger running internally, and
the online status of users does not refresh. If the user
exits out of the programs, and restarts it, it
refreshes. Any ideas?

Greetings Diane,
By internally, do you mean using an Exchange IM 2000 server? If so, this can occur if the
Internet Connection Firewall is enabled. To check, click Start, then click the Control
Panel. If you're in category view click Network and Internet connections then click Network
Connections. Right click your network/internet connection, then click Properties. Click the
Advanced Tab, and verify that the Internet Connection Firewall is unchecked.
