The VP of our company recently got a new Toshiba laptop with XP Pro using
SP2. All the websites that he enters either dop not display any background
images or do not recognize css fonts. The fonts display very large.
Is this an issue with SP2?
Thanks.

Hi Robert,
Not an SP2 issue, afaik. Have you verified the settings?
Windows XP: Ignore Colors, Font Styles, or Font Sizes Specified on Web =

Thanks Ramesh.
I'm assuming its CSS. In IE no backgroud colors display and the font sizes
are larger. I followed the MS Instrucvtion sheet you referred me to but none
of the options to Ignore color or font styles was checked off.
This is a new machine that came w/XP Pro SP2.
Is it maybe something w/IE?

Robert,
Try the new repair method for IE6 - SP2. Posted earlier by Robert =
Aldwinckle, MVP.
<quote>
If it's XPsp2 try to Run... the new repair command:
iexplore.exe /rereg
Note there is no feedback from this command and it is done very
quickly so I think it is better to do it in a command window in the
appropriate directory. E.g. Run... cmd then enter:
cd %ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer
iexplore /rereg
</quote>
In addition, Method 1 in this article might help (ignore the title)
