After installing .net framework on XP Home sp 2 it created a user called
asp.net as it should.
Recently I did a clean reinstall of XP Home and installed XP Pro sp2 upgrade
over it. When I later installed .net framework it created a hidden user
"asp.net" but this user is not on the welcome screen as it was with XP Home
sp2.
Is this something new and therefore correct or do I have a problem?
Thanks for any help.

I am also having trouble with .Net Framework, but mine is v1.1.4322
(Windows XP HE).
I have been trying to install v1.1 Service Pack 1. My problem seems
that it has a bug, I guess. I receive error message telling me (error
code E0434F4D) that I need to debug but JIT Debugger is not attached.
Why should I Have to debug a service pack put out by Microsoft?
I've repaired Windows XP a number of times in the last week and also
reinstalled Office XP (can't install Office XP SP3 either).
Would really appreciate some ideas on why everything is so flaky.
Thanking in advance for anyone's help.
