hi jonothan,
still having problems,this is the message i keep
getting:VIRUS ALERT! NORTON ANTIVIRUS HAS DETECTED AND
REMOVED A VIRUS FROM YOUR COMPUTER,OBJECT NAME:C:\DOCUME~1
\CHRIST~1\LOCALS~\TEMP\EC64.TMP VIRUS
ACTION TAKEN:THE FILE WAS
AUTOMATICALLY DELETED. hope this makes sense to you.

Greetings Chris,

It sounds like you've been infected with the SoBig virus (although Norton has removed it for
you). Unfortunately this virus spreads through e-mail, so when you receive it, Norton will
remove it for you automatically (and your virus definitions appear to be up-to-date, although
you may want to run LiveUpdate from within Norton Antivirus just to be sure). You can just
click OK to these messages, as Norton is protecting your PC and you shouldn't have anything
to worry about.

Eventually the virus will die down and it won't be as prevalent -- it'll take a few more
months however.
