Print status dialog

Dear All,
I wish to disable the print dialog that shows

Printing Page 1 of N and has a single cancel button there.

Because users are clicking the cancel button accidently and cancelling the
print job.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

That type of display and option is not too common, and may come from the
application, or a printer driver/monitor.
If it's from the application, spooling may allow the message to flash
quickly and then go away before the user can react.
Next, it may be that a printer status monitor can be disabled.

(It's been a long time since I've seen this exact type of printer related
pop up. )
