msn, hotmail and windows updates

I am unable to log onto msn,, hotmail or recieve windows updates, similar to
others who have poasted this complaint. I have tried teh reccomendations
without sucess. The only part I could not complete successfully is "deleting
files" although i could delete cookies. any sugestions
