everytime i open my netmeeting or try to log on to the
internal locator service (ILS) or MIcrosoft internet
directory it says "the directory server could not be
found, you may not be connected to the network or u have
mistyped the server name"
i use windows XP and a DSL connection ... i can recieve
calls through netmeeting but cant place any. please tell
what to do ..

Greetings Karen,
The "normal way" to place a Netmeeting call is to simply call the other persons IP address
(click the Call menu, then New Call in Netmeeting). Although you can find third-party ILS
servers (See http://www.netmeetinghq.com/ils/servers.phtml), the Microsoft Internet Directory
has been down for years (and isn't coming back).
