I'm Sick of MSN 6 no audio problem.

Okay look. I've diabled everything. Twice.
I've even disabled QoS packets.
I've come out from behind the router.
I've gone behind the router.
I've abandoned the router altogether.
I've hung out in the DMZ zone.
I've exposed my myself with no firewall.
I've played with settings when there WAS a firewall.
nothing. and I mean nothing gets MSN 6's audio to connect to anything else.
What-----The----- F*ck ????

Is there a patch? Tell me SOMETHING works.

WOW... can you tell I've been fighting with it for the past 2 weeks?????
Cuz I'm as frustrated as hell.

What is your network card?
Changing network drivers *can* help, but you will probably have to wait for
a bugfix like the rest of us. There is a chance the leaked Messenger 6.1 can
fix it, but I would assume someone has tried it and would have posted here
if the result was positive.
There is also a workaround involving replacing rtcdll.dll with an older
version of the file.

Hi all,

Not wanting to Brag but I have Messenger 6.0 working 100% with Voice, Video,
file transfers and Remote assistance. One thing I have noticed is that some
of these features wont work if your using any thing other than Windoz XP.

I regularly chat with a guy in Florida using Video and Voice ands clearer
and better quality than a land Line to the states.
