i get the blue screen of death on my new machine. i have the following
hardware. MSI(ms-7030) mainboard, athlon 64 3200+, 512mb giel golden dragon
cl-2 memory, MSI video(ms-9370), 2 seagate 160gb barracuda sata drives in
raid, plextor px-w5224a, pioneer dvr-108. basically i changed mainbaords and
hard drives and now i get this crash everynow and then...usually 3 times or
more per day. its totally random so i dont know what causes it and the blue
screen flashes so fast i have no idea what it says.

sorry for the long messege, but i wanted to include my hardware setup. i
have no software on this machine cept windows xp, drivers, and mainboard
software.

I do not have a solution to this but I have a very similar problem with a
system configured much like this one. It has worked for several months but
has begun to shut itself down without notice. It may happen after serveral
hours maybe days or it may happen shortly after a reboot. There is no ryme
nor reason known by me. Any help for either of us would be appreciated.

Right click My Computer, choose properties, Advanced, Startup and
Recovery Settings. Under system failure untick the Automatically
restart box. Ok your way out. That should cause the computer to pause
and display the BSOD. Copy down the error message and post back.
