Messanger 5.0 for XP

I recently upgraded my messsager to 5.0. I am now
getting the following error:

'This application has failed to start because the
application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the
application may fix this problem.'


I have reinstalled serveral times and am still getting
the error. Has anyone else ran into this issue?
