Print Spooler

My print Spooler service is not running I have windows XP
Professional, all Ive done to try to fix it is gone to Start, Control
panel, performance and maintenance, adminnistrative tools, services,
clicked on Print spooler and changed it to automatic and then clicked
start, but that didnt work. Anybody got anything else??

From the Command Prompt, type:

net start spooler
(and hit enter)

If there is an error message, please report back with the exact text.
