Whoever used that example while doing their job working for MS, is in
trouble! Personally, I think it is very funny. Here is an article regarding
how IE has slipped in world usage share by over 7% (obviously, Firefox
gaining that share) from just last Mya to now:

Here also, is an article (where MS is getting startled at these these
numbers!) regarding Linux OSes taking more control of the market for PCs
(they already have jumped from 16% to over 25% of the world server market in
just 2 years), now that Intel is openly supporting the Asian rim for support
with Linux OSes.

So what? What successful business doesn't take the time and effort to
check out what its competition is doing? I wouldn't even be suprised to
see Macs in limited use on Microsoft's campus.

Uh......8-) Yes they do. MS makes Office for Mac's, they would need to use a
Mac for developement purposes.

When you design web pages you have to test them with different browsers
and even
different versions of the same browser.

MS is the largest Mac developer and part owner of the Mac.

Didn't MS say IE was based on on other stuff years ago:

Version 6 about says:

Based on NCSA Mosaic. NCSA Mosaic(TM); was developed at the National Center
for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign.
