PLEASE HELP!!!

My boss seems to have gotten some malware, adware or something on his
machine. Anyway, one particular site seems to have made itself an active
desktop web page on his desktop and when we try to delete it, it comes back.
Can someone please help me!!?? I've tried everything. I've run spyware,
adware and everything else I can think of. I just want to get rid of all
traces of this site.

Thank you.

Thanks, Bob.

I was going to try Spybot but changed my mind as I didn't think it would
work. At this point, I'm willing to give it a try.

Thanks.

Right click on a blank area of the desktop, choose properties, desktop,
customize desktop, web. Uncheck everything in the web pages box and
delete everything except my current home page. Untick Lock desktop
items. Ok your way out.

I have the same problem. I had a trojan virus and some assorted spyware that
I got rid of. I used spybot but that did not get rid of this background.
When I right click in a blank area of the desktop it comes upwith a general
properties box that tells me the name of the file is desktop.html. What can
I do? I can see my desktop partially behiond this html file. Help!

Access the display properties dialog box by going into control panel,
display.
