View Full Version : Windows won't save any changes for the next restart

My WinXP won't save any form of changes made to it.
Desktop icons. Explorer window sizing. Passwords or form name entry fields
etc etc etc
Nothing that would normally be saved to return at the next restart/reboot is
ever saved. And I can't find any global setting, or reason, for that. I have
Administrator rights.

Is there some simple registry setting that disables/enables that?

Hi

Have a look in the Event Viewer to see if any entries there may through some
light on the problem.
