removing desktop item

Hi There. My daughter right clicked on a picture off the web, and set it as a
desktop item. I would like to remove it but cant figure out how. If I change
the desktop the picture still appears. Thank You.

Hover over it and click the close button when the title bar appears. You =
may need to right click the desktop and choose Arrange Icons By - Lock =
Desktop Items first.
