Excite Chat Helper.exe won't load under XP Pro SP2

Excite Chat Helper.exe/loader.exe won't load under XP Pro SP2. Get a
Beep/Error tone w/o message. Have tried various settings. Several people
having this problem. Any ideas appreciated.

And what, exactly, has this to do with Microsoft?! Is MS responsible for
offering post-SP2 support for 3rd-party applications?! No, they are not. So
I suggest you take this to the correct place, that is the
developer/distributor of the 3rd-party application.

On your desktop, right click, choose New>Shortcut. In the location line
type

http://chat.excite.com/noncached/frameset.html

click next, type whatever name you want for the shortcut and click finish.
Log into messenger normally, but after you are logged into messenger dont go
to Launch Superchat, double click the new shortcut.
This will take you into the help desk and from there you can press the Rooms
list button and navigate normally."Steve"
