Yeah, sounds crazy, doesn't it? When I boot up, everything
proceeds normally until the Windows Messenger icon appears
in the window to the left part of the task bar. Just a
millisecond later, my mouse and my keyboard BOTH die. In
order for me to keep it from happening, I have to be ready
to click on the Windows Messenger icon immediately, when
it first appears. Just opening the program window seems to
make everything all right -- until I shut down the
computer and try to re-boot, again.
Of course, once the mouse and the keyboard both die, the
only way I have to get things going again is to use
the "reset" switch on the front of the box. Nasty
business!!
