Hiya Jonathan,
Sorry to bother you on a Fri. night, I know this is not one of yours, but
I know you are the best so I thought I would ask just in case you had the
answer. I can not seem to be able to boot
into safe mode.
I have tried 10 times to shut down and hold down F8 with no luck. Do any of
you know of
another way to boot in to the command prompt??? I am trying to format the c:
drive. I am running
a updated version of XP Pro.
Thanks in advance

How about using a Windows 98/ME boot disk (floppy)?
That's is what I'm using when I want to format the disk or partition

Greetings Bob,
Sorry, didn't see this till now -- I agree with Gus, you should be able to just boot from the
Windows XP CD and format it within there (I assume you just want to reinstall Windows).
