Windows XP sp2 crash

Got the blue screen and tried to do a system restore-4 different dates and
windows will not completely load. Gets stuck st the windows start up scroll.
I can get safe mode but that is it. What do I need to do?

Do you know what the Stop Code was on the Blue Screen. Try 'Last Known Good
Configuration' - same screen as the access to Safe Mode is on.

Hi,
It crashed on my son while I was at work-so I don't know the stop code-he
said windows was closing to protect files and folders. He was on the
internet at the time, he also said he did "last known" also. No go. It was
the first thing I did, then tried 4 restore dates. Only new thing loaded was
an i-pod program @ Wed night but all was working Fri morning when I left.
Crashed on my son @3pm friday.

If Windows can't be accessed with any of option, you will have to look
towards a 'Repair' install of XP. The following article by Michael Stevens

cannot uninstall i=tunes---windows installer error 1719-safe mode or not
correctly installed?? Also trying to get to boot cd drive first and cannot
get to bios with f8 command??? next step??
