My girlfriend just bought a new computer and it has
Windows XP and I still have ME but we can't use the webcam
in messenger; does anyone know how to make this work???? I

Brian,
Windows XP has WINDOWS Messenger 4.7 and the camera facility will only
work with other 4.7 users. You have two options to use MS Netmeeting
(included in XP, you will need to download it for ME) or your
girlfriend could install MSN Messenger 6.0 on her XP computer.

Brian.
There is a third option and that is for you to upgrade Windows ME to
XP. Although this option requires that you purchase the XP Disk it
has the advantage that your system will be more stable. Earlier this
year, after two years of suffering an unstable system, I upgraded from
ME to XP and all my instability problems disappeared overnight.
