In windows 98 you can save search results as a .fnd file.
How do I do this in XP?
Please help. Do I have to go back to win98?

Run your search, then go to File on the menu and select Save Search.

In Search: Highlight specific items if all are not wanted. Then go to
File>Save search; this opens the My Documents window; Select which
subfolder you want it to be placed in if other than Docs. It shows up in
the above as "Files named *". A click on this brings up Search with what
was found already.
