View Full Version : IE Pop-up blocker with SP2, how to stop people disabling it

Hi,

Someone at home, who doesnt want to admit it is constantly turning off the
pop-up blocker included with WinXP SP2 for IE.

I have seen and have programs which disable/grey out parts of the Internet
Explorer tools. Once the pop-up blocker is turned on is there a way to
disable the IE Tools Pop-up blocker interface so that it cannot be turned
off. I would prefer to leave the rest of the interface enabled.

"Use Popup blocker" is a setting in the "Custom Level" settings at IE,
tools, options, Security tab.

There is a Policy setting to make it apply to all users. GPEDIT.MSC > User
config/ admin temps/IE maint./Security
