Web cam disables internet connection >:(

I successfully instal Logitech Web Cam. Works fine.
Appears to work with MSN Messenger BUT I cannot use MSN
Messenger to access the net or IE or Netscape.

everything is the most up to date.

In order to restore online access I have to do a system
restore to fix whatever is happening to my internet
settings?
