messenger for website livehelp

Does anybody know of any way to add functionality to your
websites that would notify you via windows messenger that
you have a visitor, allow you to initiate a conversation,
and allow them to chat with you through some sort of
scripting on their side, and you using windows messenger?

I haven't seen anything like this -- it would be somewhat difficult at this point (with the
recent restrictions with Messenger)
