windows messenger is not working

Hi All,
I am trying to get windows messenger to work with my
netwrok setting. I have a cable modem and netgear MR814
router. I updated the firmware to the latest, Enabled the
ports that is used by windows messenger, and Upnp is
enabled as well. Can anyone help me figure this out, it
is not working no matter what!

By "not working", do you mean not coming up, not allowing you to sign-in, or some specific
feature?
