We have two Windows XP machines that are having the same problem. The first one is printing to an HP Laserjet 8000 and gets the problem both via network and direct cable.
The second machine is printing to a Dell M5200 via network.
While printing reports from FoxPro the printer stops, and pauses in the middle of a page, spits that page out (without completeing it) and then restarts printing at page 1 again. The problem does not occur for other users and or printers. Both machines worked previously, the first one stopped working when we installed a new Dell computer, the second stopped working when we installed the new Dell printer. To add more confusion, the second machine (Dell printer) used to be connected to another HP LaserJet 8000 previously and it worked fine. I'm confident there's a setting on the machine(s) that I need to correct. Any suggestions? FYI The printer server is running Windows 2000 Server.
