installed sp2, no longer able to handle mdb files

Friend of mine installed sp2 and now he is no longer able to handle
mdb files with explorer (copy, move, etc)

Tried the knowledge base, nothing. Anyone any ideas?

..mdb files needs Microsoft Access application. It that installed?
