Firewall Question

Hello Experts,

I once again ask, why my ZoneAlarm Firewall recognizes the dynamic ports
used by Messenger for media streams.
I expected, that ZoneAlarm Friewall blocks this kind of UDP traffic. But
that is not the case and I am happy.

But can anyone explain if ZoneAlarm is overruled by Messenger or if there is
some kind of communication between Messenger and ZoneAlarm?

Greetings Franz,

I don't believe there's any current communication between the two. The latest ZoneAlarm
versions set into the correct mode (ie. 'Medium' allow this type of traffic without any
problem).
