I can't see my network adapters with WNTIPCFG after installing SP2 (the
IPCONFIG gui that comes with the Windows 2000 resource kit). Is there any
way to make this work without screwing up (what I'm guessing is enhanced
network security with) XP?

Runbuh,

Works fine here (SP2 system). Do you get any error message? If not, =
reinstalling the NIC from Device Mgr might help.

Actually, I've got three network adapters: Ethernet, Wireless, and Nortel
IPSec shim (for the Nortel contivity VPN client). I can only see the Nortel
client. Pre-SP2, I could see all three. I'll try your re-install
recommendation and see what happens.

Thanks!

Use Device Manager, but click View "Show Hidden Devices". Likely,
you've got Phantom instances of the devices which is why they do not
appear in the normal/current Hardware profile.
You may have to remove the Phantoms and re-enumerate/configure
to return them to service.
