To help people gather more data regarding their PC's who are not
exactly experts try this software;

http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php

This will greatly help the average tyro who has troubles to gather info re
his system so he can provide it for others who can then more easily provide
help.
Last time I looked it did not work for the McAfee VirusScan online antivirus
scanner. It works for VirusScan 7.X but not the online version.
It also comments if drivers, bios's etc are outdated, or at least somewhat
old and will run some benchmarks.

I second that it is a very useful utility and is even more complete for
awnsering question like xp installation info. Just a ton of useful
information. One of the few programs you should have on your desktop.
