ok people face it sp2 doesent work with other microsoft products or intel
cpus or motherboards it kills any games you may be running and msn messenger
it also installs firewalls and other garbage that does nothing but take up
system resorces that most of us have on our computers anyway xp home boot
screen changes to xp pro this should give you some kind of clue that someone
messed up thay did not make two different vershions of the update sp2 is a
lame attempt by microsoft to cover up the fact thay havent made a new
opperating system {long horn } and that doesent look any better and wont be
released untill 2006 or 2008 it will also kill copying of cds and other copy
protection that users wont be happy with so if you play games on your pc
think twice about sp2 you will see lag in graphics in single player games and
internet game play will only be worse unstalling sp2 has only caused more
problems it doesent unstall everything so be ready for more problems we are
now haveing problems with sp1 internet explorer freezeing or stops responding
the only thing taht microsoft can tell you is you dont have sp2 so it looks
like thay are going to force sp2 on you wheather you like it or not or put up
with a unstable opperating system the only advice that we can give at this
point is turn off auto updates and if you have installed sp2 make sure auto
update, firewalls and warnings are turned off uninstalling your games and
other software hasent made a differance to them being stable so this is a
wast of time good luck

I think you should concentrate more on spelling and less
on Microsoft's alleged shortcomings . . .

Your experiences are typical of computers totally unprepared for SP-2 such
as old drivers, BIOS, being infested with viruses, spyware etc.
