prin on LPT2

[install win printer on LPT2]

I wanted to install printer on lpt2 but could not as it is only listed in
hardware profile but not among the local print ports (i have all 5 coms but
only lpt1 there). I tried to add it manualy as lpt2 no success..

When I connected the printer to LPT2 , new hardware found apperared in Xps
but failed to install driver automaticlly..

ZIP drive was not detected on this LPT2

Would very appreciate any help

Am assuming you have installed a pci card for the lpt2 port if its not in device manager properly it won’t work make sure it doesn’t conflict with the port that’s all ready installed go into bios and turn off ltp1 (disable see if that helps lpt2 work). If lpt2 then works change settings in bios for lpt1 and retry. Some times for no reason I can work out plugging the pci card into a different slot cure it.
