Windows Messenger 5 wont start at all

Hi
Does anyone have an idea why windows messenger wont start,
I do have msn messenger 6 and that runs just fine, but
when I try to run windows messenger 5 it wont run. I need
windows messenger for remote access. I am running windows
xp pro.

Greetings Peter,

Try downloading and running these .reg files:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/enablewindowsmessenger_user.reg
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/enablemessenger.reg

After this, reboot and see if you can load Windows Messenger.
