I am using Windows messenger with SIP on XP. I am able
to succesfully start a voice conversation with pingtel
soft phone or another windows messenger via SIP.

I would like to use the windows messenger on XP to
talk to my application server using SIP. My server
already talks SIP using sipstack from HSS and does
telephony.

When I start a voice conversation from messenger,
it seems that the messenger does not like the
Status 200 OK message that it gets back from my
server.

Looking at the packets that go between teh systems
nothing obvious is wrong.

Are there any tools with Windows Messenger on XP, that
would help us diagonise what it does not like in
the messages ??

Also, it seems that messenger on XP uses base64 encryption
mode. Is there any way to turn this off or specify
clear text ?

thanks
shamim
