Pop-ups

When I log onto my MSN account, I get several pop-ups
which say, "Signing .NET Messenger Service failed because
the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again
later."

I posted a query about this on October 2nd and was
advised to disable my .NET Passport loging, as well as
going into Windows Messenger Tools and unselecting the
option to log on automatically. This has not worked.
Please advise!
