I work for a third party company that gets special offers
from microsoft. When Windows XP came out they had us take
an online training course and we get the Pro version free
for passing the exam. 2 years later i need to reinstall
XP due to reformatting my hard drive and I lost my 25
digit product id #. I called microsoft and they claim not
to be able to help me as I have a copy of XP not available
for retail. Does anybody know what my other options may
be or do i just have a free copy of windows xp that i can
no longer use? thank you for any ideas.

Check with your Microsoft rep for your company. They should be able to help
out.
Good luck,
