WeUpdate cannot retrieve info

I like to download the latest updates to Win XP to save on
my computer in case I ever need to reinstall it.

However, when I downloaded several different updates
(patches) and then tried to install them, I got the
following error message:
"WeUpdate cannot retrieve information needed for setup
from database. Setup cannot continue."
This doesn't happen to all of the updates, only certain
ones. One example is Q329834. (Not sure what it does.)
When I try to install it after downloading, it gives me
the above message.
However, if I download & install through Microsoft's
Windows Update, they work fine.

dont worry abt this...this is a hotfix for Windows 2000. if you have xp you
shouldnt worry about this hotfix.
