I would like to edit my "Programs" list which opens from
the Start Menu Button. I've right-clicked on Start to
get to the Customize menu, but in neither the XP Start or
Classic Start can I figure out how to re-group the apps
and shortcuts. Help?

Hi Michael,
You need to reorganize from these folders:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Start Menu\Programs

I was going to reply with same information. This is how I made sense of my
hodge-podge. Create subfolders in those Programs folders, name them so you
know what is what (or where), and move the shortcuts in.

This list is nothing more than an image of C:\Documents and
Settings\your user name\Start Menu\Programs. Just go to that
folder, create and delete subfolders as desired, and move the
shortcuts within them anyplace you want.
