I have MSN messenger 6 installed. I have uninstalled Messenger (Outlook).
But there is still a folder in mij C:/program files.
Therefor is msmsgs.exe every 5 minutes preparing to connect to the internet.
That shows my Norton protection.
I cannot delete that file or folder because msmsgs.exe is running by a
program.
So do i have 2 messengers running and can i delete one of them?

Greetings Eric,
Yes, you're seeing this because your Norton protection keeps running Windows Messenger. To
do stop it, open Norton Antivirus (Right-click on the Norton Antivirus icon in the System
Tray/Notification Area (by the clock), choose 'Open Norton Antivirus'), click Options, then
Instant Messenger then uncheck MSN Instant Messenger and click OK.
