sometimes i don't feel like talking to all people in my list, and of course
it's in such situation a 'risk' to open messenger. it's a bit rude to open
the program first and to switch then immediately to appearing off-line. is
there any way to log on to Windows Messenger 4.7 without other people
knowing that you do this?
thanks!

Greetings Andreas,
Unfortunately not, Messenger currently doesn't have this functionality. As a workaround and
assuming you don't have that many contacts, you could always block all of them before you
sign out and then when you sign back in, unblock them.
