Re-install XP-Do I need SP1 before Sp2

I have Win XP 2002 edition. I am about to re-install the OS from Mfg system
CD. Will I need to Install Win XP SP1 before I install Win XP SP2? Does SP2
include SP1?

No, SP2 contains everything SP1 has and you should have SP2 on CD or other
media before reinstalling.

To make life easier why not slipstream XP2 into your original copy so
it installs to SP2 spec
