ADD A PRINTER

When I go to "ADD A PRINTER" in Win XP Home it comes up
with a message "Cannot complete operation".

Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong.

If you are attempting to install a new USB printer, load the software first
then reboot the computer.. connect the printer..

Whoever setup your computer may have set the policy to prevent you from adding a printer. Make sure you have administrative rights when trying to add new hardware..(ie, Printers)
