Outlook Express clobbered when installing SP2

I've tried to install SP2 several times, and each time after power off, my
outlook express accounts get clobbered. When bringing OE up the first time,
it requires me to set up new email accounts, and I lose all old folders and
contacts.

Anybody have an answer for this?

If you are downloading SP2 with your Anti-Virus enabled, this can
play havoc with OE. Remove it via the instructions below, also
with your A/V off, then download it again with your A/V off. Make
sure all other windows are closed when you do this also.
