XP Messenger Multimedia Voice Format

Hi All,

Can someone (probably a developer or some other expert) tell me the
following multimedia voice parameters in which Messenger works:

1. Sample width ( it should be 8 or 16 bits i believe).
2. Multimedia events notification( should be Widwos massages or win32 events
or some other method).
3. Boud rate( between 11025 and some 44000).

Complete or partial answers to my questions would be very aprretiated(please
don't advise me how to chack it with Spy++ or some other software tool cuase
I'm not a programmer).
