View Full Version : Hidden 'Radio' Buttons on menus for Wizards, etc.

When attempting to perform a download or other action, the 'Next' button,
the 'Back' button, and the 'Close' buttons among others are not visible. By
clicking in the general 'known' vicinity, I can successfully complete the
operation. They become visible once I click on any hidden button. This
occurs on all the Wizards, several screens, most downloads, etc. I have AVG
and Spybot S&D, both the latest versions, and they do not detect any spyware
or virus contamination. A example would be a right click on 'Start,'
Properties, Classic Start Menu, Customize, and when OK is selected, only
about 1/3 of the 'Customize' button is now visible. Extensive searching on
the internet and various configuration changes have not been successful.
Help would be greatly appreciated. Previously up-graded from ME to XP, Home
User.
Thanks, Dan

If using a third party theme, revert to a default XP theme. I have had
the contents of Help disappear on me when using some themes with Styles
XP.

An old accessibility bug involving "high contrast" settings used to
knock out text and buttons in other versions of Windows. It would be
worthwhile to check those settings (in Accessibilities and Display) to
ensure no high contrast settings are selected.
