Unread messages

Jerry - I know what it is but don't know how to fix it -
that's why I was scanning this newsgroup. Some one else
has logged on with another IM name and these unread
messages are for them. Even though you are now the IM
user it somehow has not released the previous users
information - if I find out how I will drop you a note
and would appreciate the same if you could let me know if
you find out how to remove this annoyance.
