Outlook express default news download directory?

How do I set the default download directory for newsgroups?
Before I upgraded to SP1 if I downloaded a file from a newsgroup it would go
to the directory I requested (D:\Downloads) and then all further downloads
would automatically go to the same directory.
Now it automatically sets to C:\Documents and Settings\MyName\My Documents
and I have to specify the directory I want each time.
Any help would be appreciated
