will there ever be a display pic and other features for
windows messenger like on msn messenger such as all the
emoticon choices and custom emoticons ect?

Greetings Bret,

You won't see this in Windows Messenger any time soon (if you've been holding out for some
mysterious Windows Messenger version to include these features, I would suggest using MSN
Messenger now) but obviously in subsequent versions of Windows Messenger in the future, there
is a very good possibility.
