Need to verify email

I'm getting a message that my email address is not
verified. But I never received the initial email with the
hyperlink. The Messenger email message box only provides
an option to affirm that I received the email and
completed the steps. How do I tell Messenger that I never
received the email? What steps can I take to fix this
issue?

Also, does Messenger list my email address so that other
public users can view it? Does Messenger allow users to
hide their email address? How?

Greetings Andrew,

No, you can't "hide" your address, but you can change it so others can see your name (or
anything you specify) instead of your e-mail address. However, you can't do this until
you're verified. If you've waited 48 hours and the verification e-mail still hasn't arrived,
you'll need to request another one from Passport Services:
