Windows XP SP2

After installing XP SP2 and restarting my computer keeps recycling back to
the start page that has all the start-up options on it, It won't allow me to
go further. I've followed all instructions and have now come to a complete
block.My computer is a Compaq 5010ca any help will be greatly appreiciated.
